Welcome to Spencer Elementary School

Dear Spencer Families,

It is with great pleasure and excitement that I extend my warmest welcome to each and every one of you as the new Principal of Spencer Elementary. As I step into this role, I am filled with a profound sense of responsibility and dedication to providing an exceptional educational experience for our students.

First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to the incredible staff, teachers, and administrators who have built such a strong foundation at Spencer. Their hard work, passion, and commitment to nurturing the potential within each child is truly inspiring and I am honored to join this exceptional team. I have had the honor of working in Brighton alongside this staff during my past two years in the district and couldn’t be happier to further my love and commitment to the building.
 

I have been serving as our district’s MTSS (Multi Tiered System of Supports) Coordinator for the past year and prior to that was a literacy coach, special education literacy specialist, and special education teacher over my 15 years in education. I am a wife and mother of two incredible boys, Finley (7) and Perry (2). As Finley is a Brighton bulldog and Perry is a future bulldog, I am blessed to have both an employee and parent perspective of Brighton Area Schools.

I value your family’s partnership immensely.  We are a team, working collaboratively to provide the best possible educational experience for your students. I encourage open communication and I am always here to listen, address concerns, and collaborate with you to ensure your child’s success. Your involvement and support play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students and I am grateful for your commitment to their growth. 
 

I am truly honored to be a part of the Spencer community and I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you. My door is always open and I welcome your thoughts, ideas, and feedback. Let us work together to create a nurturing and inspiring environment where our students can flourish.
